Who We Are

The Motor Services Division is a full-service electric motor repair and rebuild shop in Magna, Utah. Founded in 1995 and acquired by Sidewinders in 2019, the shop is still family owned and operated. It has grown into a key part of Sidewinders’ service offering. We disassemble, test, repair, rewind and rebuild AC/DC motors, generators and other rotating equipment to EASA AR100 and ISO 9001 standards. Our customers come from mining, heavy equipment, industrial distribution, aerospace/defense and power generation, including GE, Motion Industries, Rio Tinto, Komatsu and Northrop Grumman.

Across Sidewinders, we put safety, quality and performance first, in that order, on every job without exception. We build long-lasting customer relationships by getting the work right the first time.
