The Opportunity

Our ideal candidate will have a solid accounting education and progressive career experience to support the effective and efficient management of monthly activities. They apply a continuous improvement mindset to processes as we continue to mature our financial operations to support company growth.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Month end close processes including journal entry adjustments, balance sheet account reconciliations, deferrals, and expense recordings in accordance with GAAP.
  • Managing cost data, conducting variance analysis, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise AR/AP; providing direct support on escalations.
  • Prepare weekly ACH and wire payments, including template setups.
  • Bank reconciliations weekly/monthly.
  • Cash flow management and forecast preparation.
  • Fixed asset management.
  • Intercompany accounting and reconciliation between (2) set of books; collaborating between
    multiple locations.
  •  WIP schedules to monitor and control the workflow within the organization.
  • Payroll reconciliation and accrual management.
  • Partner with Sales to administer commission program, including monthly statements.
  • Prepare quarterly sales tax returns, plus general tax return and payment support.
  • Administrate expense reimbursement and company credit card programs.
  • Contribute to various internal and external audits.
  • Maintain weekly KPI metrics.
  • Prepare documentation of internal controls, process, and procedures.
  • Support preparation of monthly reporting packages and variance analysis.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years experience within Accounting / Finance roles.
  • 2+ years supporting regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Prior experience in multi-site, international environments.
  • Leadership experience across projects, process, and people. Interest and ability to coach and mentor direct reports.
  • Solid GAAP knowledge.
  • ERP utilization experience; configuration is a plus.
  • Strong excel skills are a must.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience preparing effective analysis for leadership teams.
  • Ability to problem solve decisively and independently while demonstrating appropriate judgement on escalations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to various internal audiences.

Shift: Monday – Friday
Reports To: COO and indirect repor;ng to owners
Salary: $100K
Location: In-person Bluffdale, Utah with remote flexibles.
